This year I made a resolution to be in God’s Word more. So, far I’ve kept it and I am so proud of myself. I have several supplies that I use to study the Bible better and I wanted to share them with you!

Supply #1: Bible

Since 2021, I have been using a Bible called CSB: She Reads Truth. And I can’t speak highly enough of it. This Bible is a word-for-word translation and it is much easier to read than the King James Version.

It also has several cool features inside it that make the studying the Bible easier.

  • Every chapter has an introduction that tells who wrote the book, when it was written, and why it was written.
  • Each chapter as a beautifully drawn quote from that book at the beginning.
  • There are several maps along the way for reference to be able to understand the story more.
  • It has a yearly Bible reading plan embedded within the pages.

Supply #2: Bible Tabs

Since I am highly organized, I have to have the Bible tabs of each of the names of the books of the Bible on them. This allows me to find the different books faster. Plus, they make the bible look really pretty when they match.😆 So, I decided to purchased these: ZIEYOMI Bible Tabs.

Supply #3: Bible Highlighters

amazing bible highlighters

I’ve been doing some research on different ways to highlight the bible while studying it. If you are wanting to highlight the “important” verses, inevitably, you end up highlighting every verse. And that isn’t what I want.

I really like a company called Daily Grace Co. and they sell a book called Bible Highlighting Guide. It’s super short and worth the money spent.

It contains different ways to highlight the Bible and some of the ways I hadn’t ever thought of before!

Supply #4: Pens

I don’t know about you, but I like to write in my Bible. It could be special verses that I want to underline. It could be certain quotes from that days sermon. Really, it is anything I deem important.

So, I use Mr. Pen’s pens. (haha). They fine tip and do not bleed through the page.

They are also really great for bible journaling and coloring within the pages.

Supply #5: Transparent Sticky Notes

I just found these the other day when I was searching for sticky notes for school. Transparent sticky notes are so cool! I like using them to write down a quote or a verse that I like. Then using washi tape to stick down the other side. It makes that page have a bit of character.

I have seen several people that I have been following use them to underline and circle words without actually writing in their Bible.

Supply #6: Pencil Pouch

That’s a lot of supplies to just carry by themselves! So, I purchased a pencil pouch. It’s neat.

The pouch has several different types of storage space so they can all be organized in a certain way. It can also expand to accommodate more items.

Supply #7: Notebook

The last thing that I like to have is my bullet journal. I like to write things in it that I learned. I’ve found that I like this one the best.
